“Blicke/Glances” – Student Film Screening at the 2024 Fundamental Rights Forum

Join our students Stefania Kulaj, Julia Haveker and Sarah Achar at the UNHCR info stand during the Fundamental Rights Forum 2024 on 11 and 12 March for an eye-opening screening of “Glances/Blicke”!

This heartwarming documentary delves into the lives of five refugee and migrant children in Vienna, aged 6 to 12, as they share their unique perspectives on life, reality, and dreams for the future. 🌍

Through their innocent yet profound reflections, we’re invited to see the world through their eyes, understanding their hopes, fears, and aspirations. As students from the Master of Arts in Applied Human Rights program, we’re proud to present this project that amplifies the voices of those often unheard. 👧👦

At the Fundamental Rights Forum, amidst discussions on climate change, technological progress, and threats to democracy, “Glances/Blicke” stands as a beacon of empathy and understanding. It’s a reminder of the importance of listening to marginalized voices and working together for a more inclusive and compassionate world.

Join us as we bridge the gap between communities, cultures, and generations. Let’s ignite conversations, foster empathy, and pave the way for a brighter future for all!
